Sodi 2015: Prioritising innovation and creativity

As every year, Sodikart were prominent at the Offenbach Kartmesse (DEU), the world’s largest karting show, and unveiled their new 2015 range – the fruit of their continual strategy based on creativity and innovation. Both in competition and leisure, Sodi continues its relentless pursuit of the highest quality on the basis of experience from over 30 years, combined with ongoing research to continue to be the world’s leading kart manufacturer.

2015 Sodi Rental range
The undisputed leader in the world of leisure karting, Sodi has further refined its range in 2015 with the presentation of the RX8 and SK ranges. After a major breakthrough in the field of electric karts with the RTX and LRX, and the recent presentation of the already successful 2Drive that revolutionizes the two-seater kart, Sodi has improved the flagship models to provide its customers with the best product tailored to their needs, while following regulatory changes.

RX 8
Spearheading the Prestige range, the RX8 is a worthy successor of the famous Sodi RX7 which maintains the technological edge. The RX8 benefits from “Proslide” technology (sliding protection with omega profile absorption structures) and the HEAD patented system for frontal impacts. Under the full bodywork, the RX8 offers the very best in terms of ergonomics and driving pleasure with its seat and easily adjustable pedals. An advanced machine, the RX8 provides extremely economical operation and offers an unbeatable ratio of the major criteria of quality, reliability, design and cost of operation.

2015 Sodi Racing range
The 2015 innovations in the field of competition karts have been applied to all chassis thanks to the strong involvement of the Research & Development department at Sodikart. The entire range has benefited from many improvements to make the Sigma R, RS, DD2 and KZ even more effective. New frame architecture, new brake systems, new bearings, new bearing supports… the list is long, but the result is big ambitions for Sodi.

Sigma RS
An evolution of last year’s Sigma frame, the RS has been developed especially for medium tyres in Rotax and KF, where the longer wheelbase and welded column support will ensure more effectiveness. A lot of work has been done on the brake system to provide more sensitivity and progressiveness. The design and manufacture of the Sigma RS allows drivers to improve performance over the duration of the race.
